Midwives have the unique opportunity and honor to support women and their babies throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A midwife's primary role is to be just that - a mother's primary care provider during pregnancy.
As your midwife, I will see you for visits throughout your pregnancy, attend your birth, and follow up postpartum with you and baby. You and baby's postpartum care includes all of your newborn screenings, maintaining health records, and ongoing visits until 6 weeks.
My credentials are CPM - Certified Professional Midwife. I earned my Associate Degree in midwifery and then became officially licensed in Wisconsin. I do not have a nursing background so only attend out of hospital births.
